Bologna Welcomes the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Travelling Exhibition

The travelling yellow tent of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers has opened in Bologna, as part of a travelling programme visiting Italian cities.

Around 100 people attended the opening, including representatives of communities assisted by Volunteer Ministers after natural disasters.

Among them was Pianoro Mayor Luca Vecchiettini, who spoke about the relationship established with the volunteers after severe flooding in 2024. Restaurateur Fabrizio Lazzarini also spoke emotionally about the assistance received when his restaurant was affected by mud eu newsletter and water.

Created in 1976 by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, the programme offers practical tools for communication, relationships and problem-solving alongside humanitarian response.

Inside the Bologna tent, visitors can view photographs and videos documenting Volunteer Ministers activities while learning about communication, relationships, study, work and family life.

Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, described the Bologna initiative as an expression of European values of solidarity, human dignity and community responsibility.

The yellow tent shows how the Volunteer Ministers programme combines emergency response with practical help for daily challenges.
